How to Get More Visibility And FPS in Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Ver 1.0
Before i start the article i would like to mention the basic specifications of my PC. They are as follows
CPU : Core i7 7700k
GPU : GTX 1060 6GB
RAM : 16GB (2 X 8GB) at 2666 MHz
It may be noted that this tutorial works for every pc specifications no matter what hardware you have and the results may not be the same for every pc.
If you have a solid state drive(ssd), make sure that your game is installed on your solid state drive (ssd).
Earlier I have installed the game on my HDD and later installing it to my main SSD has given me better load times and also a smooth gameplay with little lag.
If you have installed PUBG to the default folder go to the following path
Local disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > PUBG > TslGame > Binaries > Win64 >
Right Click on TslGame and go to properties.
In properties under the compatibility tab check the Override High DPI Scaling behavior.
Leave scaling performed by : to Application
This applies only to Nvidia users and i am really sorry AMD users as i dont know how it works for you
Go to your Nvidia control panel and select manage 3d settings.
Select the Program Settings Panel and click on Add
Select TslGame ( you will note that the path is same as the file we selected in the previous step)
Turn the threaded optimization to ON. This is another FPS Booster.
In Nvidia control panel go to adjust desktop color settings.
Increase the digital vibrance to 65%. This is not an FPS booster but it makes the colors of the game pop.
This is personal preference and you change the vibrance to your best settings.
Now that we have done the settings outside the game its time to change the in game settings. These settings are optimized for my graphic card and processor and you can play with the settings until you get the best results. These are my settings.
After doing the following steps these were the FPS that i could achieve in the game.
So these were my settings to optimize your Frames per second and get a better overall visibility during gameplay. Hope this article helped you, if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments below.
